Overview
Why trust us with this service
SigenStor, developed by Sigenergy, is more than a charger: it's an all-in-one energy system that combines five technologies in a single device — modular battery, V2X bidirectional charging, DC/AC converter, solar inverter and AI-driven smart management. A single installation, automatically orchestrated, to produce, store, charge and power your home.
The heart of the system is bidirectionality (V2H / V2G): your electric vehicle stops being a mere consumer and becomes a battery on wheels that can power your home during an outage or support the grid at peak times. Paired with the modular SigenStor battery (6 to 54 kWh) and your solar panels, you move toward true energy independence.
Métropolitain Électrique designs and installs the Sigenergy solution on the North Shore: audit, sizing, panel connection, essential-circuits panel and full commissioning. We work with forward-looking homeowners who want infrastructure ready for the future.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
A question not listed here? Our team will get back to you quickly.
Ask a questionWhich vehicles are compatible with SigenStor?
V2H/V2G compatibility depends on the vehicle. Several recent models support discharging via CCS or CHAdeMO. We verify compatibility before any installation and keep you informed of upcoming manufacturer software updates.
Is it mature or experimental?
The technology is mature internationally. In Québec, residential deployments are recent. We offer SigenStor to clients who understand the particulars of an early-adopter project in Canada.
How is it different from a Powerwall?
A Powerwall is a dedicated wall battery. SigenStor uses your EV's battery in addition to (or instead of) a wall battery. The two approaches can even coexist depending on your needs.
Is an essential-circuits panel required?
For V2H mode (power during an outage), yes. We design and install it as part of the project.
Is V2G allowed by Hydro-Québec?
Residential V2G programs in Québec are still evolving. We follow Hydro-Québec's announcements and support you as programs become available.
